Though Laura may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Laura touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeanne Nieser (McKnight) and Jack Nieser; and her husbands, Paul Medvec and Daniel Onyshko. She is survived by: her daughter Natalie Longa (Chad); her grandchildren, Eliot and Alexis; and her siblings, Barb Luskin (John) and Tom Nieser (Barb).
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (6850 Mayfield Rd, Gates Mills, OH 44040).
She will be remembered for the love she gave to everyone she knew, her enthusiasm for life, and her firm belief that living joyfully was "her prerogative."In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 23215 Commerce Park, Suite 300, Beachwood, OH 44122.
