Though Nikolaos may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his father Ioannis Mavrakis. He is survived by: his mother Eleftheria Mavrakis; his wife Maro; his sons, Jon (Rebecca) and Terry (Niki); his grandchildren, Maria, Eleni and Niko; and his brothers, Mike, George (Panagiota) and Bill (Zoe). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Helen and Constantine Greek Orthodox Cathedral (3352 Mayfield Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118).
