He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hughes and Zella Fudaley; his stepfather Zigmont Fudaley; his brother Timothy; and his son Christopher.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason and Steven Hughes; his sisters, Catherine Wirick and Shirley Masluk; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ohio Veterans Home, Secrest Chapel (3416 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
