She is survived by: her husband William Pamplin; her children, Samuel Burgess (Wonda), Betty Rucker (John), Billy J. Burgess, Ernestine Burgess and Reginald A. Burgess; and her siblings, Susie Mae Walter, Alfred Burgess, Johnny C. Burgess and Willie Ed Burgess. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
