He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Marie Brown; his close friend Carol Korp; and his brothers, Bobby R. Brown and Larry W. Brown. He is survived by: his siblings, Beatrice Ferguson, Wanda Milhoan of Akon and Loyd Blake of Akron; his stepson Ronnie Korp (Kim); his granddaughter Cristal Korp; Tom of Cleveland.
