He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Anna (Gussmann); his parents, Michael and Sofie (Decker); his children, Richard (Christine) and Michael (Patricia); his grandchildren, Rebecca Crew, Amanda Gillespie (Steve), Curt and Lanie Welker; his great grandchildren, Leyna and Bennett Crew; and his siblings, Heinrich, Gerhard and Helmut of Germany.
