He was predeceased by: his son Robert Shepard. He is survived by: his children, Ambus Shepard and Sylvester Shepard; his grandchildren, Sheila Ann, Roberta, Ambus Jr., Joseph, Andre, Antoine, Takeysha, Shannon, Michael, Robert, Luwanna and Kimberly; and his siblings, Mary Hill and Willie Riddle. He is also survived by 32 Great-grandchildren.
