With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maggie Merriweather (Cleveland, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Wilson and Mary Wilson; and her stepsons, John Merriweather Jr. and Alfonso Merriweather. She is survived by: her siblings, Willie C. Wilson, Henry Wilson, Frankie Jones, Gertrude Key, Johnnie C. Wilson, Jimmie Lue Giles, Edward Wilson, Rebecca Bowers and Robert Wilson; her daughter Dora Bolden of Cleveland, OH; her sister Olivia Wilson of Jackson, TN; her grandchildren, Michelle Bolden and Lavelle Bolden (Serena); her great grandchildren, Devon Bolden (Shayla), Nakelle Bolden and Kierra Bolden; her great great grandchildren, Kameron, Hazel and Devon Zymir; and her nephew Junior Wilson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
