She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virginia Mueller and Edward Hurlbut; her husband Oliver Farrar Emerson; her siblings, Ted and Virginia Fleming; her children, Ellen Emerson Nigrosh (Barry), Edward Scott Emerson (Suzanne), Katherine Logan Emerson (Keith McCrae) and David; her grandchildren, Oliver Max Nigrosh (Lori), Samuel Israel Nigrosh, Margaret Randolph Davis, Olivia Emerson Koldenhoven (Nick), Chloe Emerson Hopkins (Austin), Edward Scott Emerson, Jr., Benjamin Porter Davis, Anna Logan Davis and Alexander (Emerson); her stepgrandchildren, Brett Alexander McCrae (Kate) and Kristen McCrae McMullan (Barrett); her great grandchildren, Charles Levi Nigrosh, Jolie Rae Nigrosh, Lennon June Koldenhoven and Belle Alexandra McCrae; and also Virginia DeConingh Fleming (Frank).
