It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Thomas (Cleveland, Ohio), born in Lake Lure, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Thomas and Ina Mae Thomas (Logan). He is survived by: his children, Laurel Steele (Cedric) and Ryan Thomas (Yasmine); his grandchildren, Aaron, Joseph, Benjamin Steele, Isabella, Elijah and Gabriel Thomas; and his siblings, Grover (Janice), Herschel Thomas and Stephanie Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
