He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie MD and James Charles Sommer MD. He is survived by: his wife Sue W. Sommer; his children, Susan Sedgebeer (late Paul), Sherry Johnson (Don), Stacy Schmidt and Bill Sommer; his grandchildren, Michael Sedgebeer (Kristin), Stephen Schmidt, Cindy Lotscher (Adam), Clay, Lauren and JoJo Sommer; and his great grandchild Summit Sedgebeer.
