It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles F Koester (Coldwater, Ohio), born in Celina, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Koester and Hilda Koester (Hoelscher); his siblings, Pat, John Jansen of Carthagena, Mary and Dick Franck of St. Henry; his son Steve; his great grandchild Jaxson Koester; and his parents-in-law, John (Gene), Edna Koester, Madonna Hart, Jim Koester, Ralph Koester, L. C. (Peanuts), Mary Jean Werling and Barbara Werling.
He is survived by: his wife Aneta Werling; his children, Steven, Jeffrey, Jeff (Linda Koester), Tom (Jaci Koester), Rebecca Koester Kelly and Mike (Christy Koester); and his parents-in-law, Linda Koester of Montezuma, Bob Stout of St. Henry, W. H. Werling (Bill) of Brookville, Ken, Betty Werling of Celina, Doris and Larry Salm of Coldwater. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
