She was predeceased by: her parents, Gebhard E. Schmit and Frances Schmit (Nussman); and her parents-in-law, Lavern, Charline Schmit, Donald, Agnes Schmit, Ralph Schmit, Richard Schmit and Richard Perkins.

She is survived by: her sisters, Lillian Perkins of Coldwater and Frances Ann Schmit of Coldwater; and her sister-in-law Rosemary Schmit of Michigan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
