With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cary Shafer (Columbus Grove, Ohio), born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Richard "Moe" and Marian Francis "Toot" Shafer (Gephart); his daughter Tracy L. "Pete" Shafer; his siblings, Tom Shafer (Susan), Kraig Shafer, Steve Shafer (Sue), Nancy Shafer and Richard "Dick" Shafer (Nancy); and his brother-in-law George Davidson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deb's Dog Pet Rescue or to the Alzheimer's Association.
