She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Lewis and Eddie Mae Lewis; and her brother William Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Julius Pitts Sr.; and her children, Michaeline Davis, Madelon Stapleton, Julius Pitts Jr. and Jeffrey Pitts. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
