With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alexander Smith (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on October 27, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Smith and Georgia Smith; his brothers, Alfonso Owens, Samuel Smith and Larry Smith; and his nephew Lance Perkins.

He is survived by: his son Alexander Latham (Erika); and his sister Geneva Hampton (Tice). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces.
