He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Foxx and Dollie Mae Tarver Foxx; his siblings, Alvin Foxx and Lottie Goshay (Henry Tarver); and his uncle Suga.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Foxx, Brooklyn Gardner, Victoria Hill, Patricia Foxx, Nina Pace, Joseph Felts and Alfred Foxx, Jr.; and his sisters, Cherie Freeman, Alberta Simpson, Reatha Goshay, Oceola Cross, Mary Frazier and Amirah Gardner. He is also survived by other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
