He was predeceased by: his parents, Jati Prasad and Biraj Mohini Sen; and his siblings, Sheila, Shankar, Chitra, Roma and Debo.
He is survived by: his children, Jayati Sen (Thomas Ehrich) and Amrita Sen (Daniel Cothran); his grandchildren, Sophia and Kiran; and his spouse Bidya Sengupta.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting memorial contributions in Amiya's name be made to St. Jude's hospital.
