It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Prater (Columbus, Ohio), born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on July 15, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Worthy and Clyde Garland Worthy; her husband William Prater; her daughters, Sheila Ann Prater Shaviss and Shelia Shaviss; her grandson Raoul Morgan; and her siblings, M. C. Worthy, Johnny Will Worthy and Walter Worthy.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Sheneal Prater and Arielle Morgan; and her siblings, Nettie King of Detroit, Clara Lou Pennyman of Thomaston, Georgia, Willie Clyde Worthy (Joann) of Melbourne and Andrew Worthy of Thomaston, Georgia.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
