He is survived by: his uncle Dewey; his sister Debbie Bates; his children, Cheryl Brogdon-Jackson, Arnette Brogdon and Juan Morton (Tia); and his nephews, Charles Wright and Arnold W. Smotherman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well the extended family and friends.
