He was predeceased by: his wife Annalene Bates Ward; his parents, Bennie Ward and Pearl Dobbins Ward; his brothers, Bill Ward, Clarence Ward, Bobby Ward and Herman Ward; his grandson Jonathan Maynard; and his children-in-law, Deborah Ward and Rick Maynard.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Ward Valencia (Ramon), Clarence A. Ward, Roger Ward (Ann-Beth), Darlene Ward Duehren (Paul) and Karlene Ward Maynard; and his sister Anna Faye Ward Denny. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
