He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Autz Eshelman; his children, Nancy Grace and Robert Eshelman; and his sisters, Mary Ann Shaner, Margaret Carpenter, Agnes Dorn Carpenter and Eleanor Leitwein.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Eshelman (Diana) and Jack Eshelman (Kathy); his son-in-law John Grace; his grandchildren, Michael, Andrew (Beth), Daniel (Rachelle), Timothy (Jennifer), Elizabeth Eshelman, Brent Grace, Molly Pawson (Ben) and Shawn Grace (Beth); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tyler, Ryan, Lexi, Sylas and Myles Eshelman; and his sister Joan Carroll. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
