She was predeceased by: her parent Daisy Richardson; her siblings, Rosa Richardson, Albertha Richardson, Colleen "Dolly" Richardson, Nathan "Leeboy" Richardson, Harold Richardson and Willie Young, Sr.; and her siblings' children, Lenora Richardson Baker and Wallace "Junior" Truell.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Edward Brown; her grandchildren, Timothy Edward Brown (Tanisha), Dr. Tina Marie Bedell (Sidney) and Anthony Quinn Brown; her great grandchildren, Tyler Evan Brown, Savanna Brooke Bedell, Timothy Edward Brown II, Kennedi Alise Bedell, Joseph Morice Brown, Sidney Bedell IV, Ameenah Ann Brown, Aliyah Patrice Brown, Alan Merther Syril Brown and Anthony Quinn Brown II; her nieces, Mae Francis Glover, Laura "Darlene" Cuthbert, Yolanda Valerie Richardson, Mary Flora "Lynn" Cleveland, Marla Dai Truell and Anzula "Bebe" Bernice Richardson (Sonja Bronson); Nicole St. Julien.
She volunteered her time at church, Meals on Wheels, League of Women Voters, worked the polls for several years, and participated in many other charity events.
