She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Steward; her sister Bessie Thomas; her former husband Bruce Lewis; and her son Timothy Lewis Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Sara Hill, Jeff Lewis, Sheila Lewis and Gary Lewis Sr. (Donya). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
