With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Sue McGinnis of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Smith and Edith Smith (Eller) of New Boston, Ohio.; her sister Robin Allen; and her brother-in-law Jerry Allen, Sr. of Portsmouth, Ohio.. She is survived by: her children, Joshua "JD" McGinnis (Kayla), Jason McGinnis (Beth) and Jessica Wheeler (Donnie) of Minford, Ohio; her siblings, Carl Stone (Sue) of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Patty Warren (Rick) of Columbus and Bobbi Prater (Dave) of Wheelersburg, Ohio; her grandchildren, Christina, Andrew, Loren, Mason, Bryce and Emily; her great grandchild Gianni; and her close friend Ron Cooper of Columbus. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the D. W. Swick Funeral Home (11901 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
