He was predeceased by: his wife Polly Belcher Caines; his parents, Richard Caines and Evelyn Caines; and his siblings, Robert Earl, Richard Jr., James, Bennett, Garnett, Ethel, Helen, Evelyn and Marcell.
He is survived by: his daughter Patty Caines Zwick (Brian Loftus); his grandchildren, Tori Zwick, Andy, Tyler and Adam; and his nieces, Jeannie Price and Nikki Price. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
