He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Terry and Martha Wanda Gray (Fortner); his daughter Janis Paige; and his siblings, Mary Fortner and James Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy "Tiny" Burkes Terry; his children, Doug, Mark, Diante, Kieshaun and Latisa; his siblings, Charles, George, Carolyn, Wanda and Nancy; and his close friend Garry Stewart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
