She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred McCaskel and Carrie Cook; and her brothers, Fred McCaskel, Jerry McCaskel and R. V. Broadnax.
She is survived by: her siblings, Madye Price, Thelma McCaskel, Costella McCaskel and Betsy McCaskel; and her children, Dorothy Kelley-Hadden, Lorenzo Johnson, Ava Brown and Tyrone Johnson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
