He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Black and Lucille Williams Black; his wife Marie Black; and his brother Robert Black. He is survived by : his children, Charlene Paquin (Joe), Tony Black (Cindy) and Pete Black (CIndy); and his grandchildren, Sara, Brittany, Chelsea, Tyler, Shannon, Alison, Andrew, Chris, Jeff and Laura. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the South Chapel (1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
