He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas LaPelusa and Esther Jewel LaPelusa; his brother David LaPelusa; and his father-in-law Huey Young. He is survived by: his wife Lisa LaPelusa; his children, Jessica Marie LaPelusa (James Faulkner) and Joshua Christopher LaPelusa; his grandson Joshua "JJ" Christopher LaPelusa, Jr.; and his siblings, Thomas M. LaPelusa (Janet), LeahAnne Schnapp, Linda Cary (John), Dawn DiCenso (Rich) and Kim Kempton (Darren). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
