She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Adkins and Helen Adkins (Eldridge); her husband Howard R. Eggers; her son Cecil Eggers; her siblings, Henry Adkins, Millard Adkins, Vernon Adkins, Bob Adkins, Ethel Morgan, Sadie Perry, Betty Adkins and Jane Barker; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Eggers.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Eggers (Robin) of Columbus and Tim Eggers (Kim) of Portsmouth; her sisters-in-law, Joy Eggers and Hazel Shepard; her close friend Sue Hegarty; her sons, Derrick and D. J.; her grandchildren, Cecily Hartley, Bobby, Katie Eggers, Shawn Eggers and Mia Beekman; her great grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Gabriel, Noah, Shaina Taylor and Keira Watts; her stepgreat-grandson Mason Hartley; and her great great grandchild Grayson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Clara's name to Ohio Living Hospice in Columbus.
