He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dorothy, Cowan, Basil and Margie Friesland; his aunt Shirley Bernthold; and his uncles, Randy Friesland and Paul Friesland.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Friesland (Angela) and Jessica Friesland (Jim); his grandchildren, Jaxson Friesland, Mikaela and Emma; his parents, Clyde Friesland and Dorothy "Dottie" Friesland; his siblings, Marla Friesland and Jeffrey Friesland (Angela); his siblings' children, Jared, Kristen, Krystal and Darbi; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joshua, George, Jayla, Jaina and Storie. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
