She was predeceased by: her parents, Coleman Copas and Lillian Evans Copas; her husband Charles Edward Tackett Jr.; her son Charles Edward Tackett III; and her siblings, Pete, Mike, Donnie, Dig and Judy.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Tackett (Tabatha), Tiny Lewis (David), Goldie Tackett-Snyder (Kerry) and Debra Galentine (Terry Sr.); her grandchildren, Corey "Bear", Charlie "Sissy" (Jeremiah), Corina, Lillian "Lilly", Steven, Terry "Bumper" (Hillary), Bailey "Thumper" (Tiffany), Miracle, Hammie, James, Atlee, Baby Charlie, Woody (William) and Sara; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Boogie, Naomi, Paisley, Brinley, Keegan and Isbella; and her siblings, Duke, Buck, Betty, Mouse, Pat and Tark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
