She was predeceased by: her mother Twila Groves; her grandmother Nell Young; and her sister-in-law Vange Carpenter. She is survived by: her boyfriend Andre Turley; her daughters, Tasha Baty (Kevin), Takisha Shubert (Nick) and Tiera Thibodeaux (Derrick); her brothers, Steve Carpenter and Robert Carpenter (Barbara); her grandsons, Cameron, Landon, Cailen, Nolan, Jackson, Kevin II, Louie, Eli, Maclyn and Liam; and her pets, Noel, Gunner and Buster. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
