He was predeceased by: his father Ray Sorensen; his daughter Shawna Marie Sorensen; his grandson Daxter Gray Ross; his brother Jay Sorensen; his father-in-law Frank Zuroski; and his grandparents, Herb, Gertrude Mahoney, Harvey and Edna Sorensen.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Zuroski; his children, Jennifer Ross (Josh) and Jason Sorensen; his mother Shirley Schallenkamp (Mahoney); his brothers, Larry (Bonnie), Randy (Ruth) and Steven Sorensen (Tina); his grandchildren, Gavin and Lydia; his mother-in-law Joyce Zuroski; his siblings-in-law, Kevin (Julie) and Kelly (Scott); and his siblings' children, Justin, Tanner, Hannah, McKenna, Emily, Sydney, Lisa, Megan, Natalie, Rachel, Carly, Amanda and Olivia. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
