He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Sargent and Shirley Sargent (Purdin); his wife Sunny McDonald Sargent; his children, Malea Sargent and Jeff Deansmith; his grandchildren, Hunter and Bella; his siblings, Chris Sargent and Lisa Boveine (Claude); his aunt Valentino; his father-in-law Robert McDonald; and his brothers-in-law, Kent and Kevin McDonald (Heidi). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and more friends.
