She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Givens; her parents, Alfred Thrweatt and Anna Carter (Raleigh); her sister Blanda Thrweatt; and her sister-in-law Deborah "Debbie" Givens.
She is survived by: her children, Damon Givens (Lauren), DeAnna Givens and Dairen Givens (Kiele); her grandchildren, Kiersten, Dayln, Porter, Kendall, Richard and Blanch Givens; and her siblings, Victoria Reese (Michael), Dorothy Williams, Warren Thrweatt, Raleigh Carter (Ramona), Ralph Carter (Betty), Ruth Carter and Joyce Carter.
