Donald F. Wihl Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald F. Wihl (Columbus, Ohio), born in Lancaster, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Wihl (Pud); his son Herman; his parents, Herman Wihl and Cecile Wihl; his brother Lewis Wihl; and his grandson Casey Hakes.
He is survived by: his brother Jack Wihl (Marilyn); and his children, Donna Wihl (Mike Provenzano), Jodi Glieco (Dave), Mark Wihl and Michael Wihl. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home (1068 S High St, Columbus, OH 43206). A prayer was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137). The military honors was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025.
