It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Taylor (Columbus, Ohio), born in Port Gibson, Mississippi, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Green and Janie Green; her husband Robert Taylor, Sr.; her siblings, Josephine Reece, Penola King, Annie Lee Davis, Fredonia Smith, Charles Green, Edgar Green and Julius Green; and her grandson Robert Taylor III.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Taylor II (Deborah), Charles Taylor (Deborah), Richard Taylor (Helen) and Raymond Taylor (Patricia); her sister Rosia Ellis; and her grandchildren, Ariana Broom (Shawn), Kasual Sharp, Dominique Jones (Trenton), Dontel Taylor, Markese Taylor, Alhmrod Patterson, Martin E. Suber Jr., Larry Wells (Lori), Timothy Wells and Cody Taylor. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, plus a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
