She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Wortsman and Gertrude Wortsman; and her husband Dr. Joseph S. Shapiro. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Daniel Shapiro (Sandra), Beth Berman (Rabbi Harold) and Dr. Lee Shapiro (Patrick Gill); her grandchildren, David Shapiro (Sandra Wintner), Rachel Shapiro, Dr. Joshua Shapiro (Kyra Williams), Micah Berman (Rachel Bloomekatz), David Berman, Jordan Berman (Elizabeth) and Adam Berman (Emuna Belenky); and her great grandchildren, Ezra, Owen, Nathan, Benjamin Shapiro, Seth, Dahlia and Eliseo Berman.
