She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Caver and Rosetta Caver (Walker); her sister Sue Carter; her aunt Ada Nichols; and her uncle John Nichols.

She is survived by: her niece Lynn Carter; and her close friends, Nikki, Peggy, Ardella, Tasha and Jeannette.
