He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Johnston and Marie Johnston; and his siblings, Joe Johnston and Judy Sandifer. He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Dulay (Hubert) and Sarah Johnston; his grandchildren, Aster and Nico Dulay; and his siblings, Sue Frissora (Mike), Mary White, Joann Johnston (Frank Gonzales) and Ron Johnston (Linda).
