It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Schumacher of Columbus, Ohio, born in Springfield, Minnesota, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvera Marie Schumacher (Schunk) and John Schumacher. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Schumacher; his former wife Kathryn Schumacher (Kay); his children, Randy Schumacher (Rhonda) of Glencoe, MN, Kevin Schumacher (Karla) of Prior Lake, MN and Julie Scharping (Mike) of Arlington, MN; his grandchildren, Cody, Logan, Seth, Brett, Alicia, Makinsey and Tate; his great grandchildren, Crosby, Braelynn and Miller; his mother-in-law Isabella Casasanta of Moon Township, PA; his brother-in-law Donald Casasanta of Moon Township, PA; his niece Hannah Casasanta of Moon Township; and also Aurie Lowinske. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
