It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Beard (Columbus, Ohio), born in Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Elijah Monroe "Preach" and Garnet Mae Kimbler (Cash); her stepmother Virginia Kimbler; and her siblings, Rev. John Kimbler, Roy Kimbler, Glenn Kimbler, Paul Kimbler, Franklin Kimbler and Marilyn Robertson.
She is survived by: her husband Pastor Wayne Beard; and her daughters, Darla Akers (Jonas), Christy Phillips (David) and Tricia Smith (David). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
