He is survived by: his children, Debbie Erwin (Dustin Delong), Brandon Backus, Mark Backus (Kerigan), Tara Backus and Ashley Backus; his siblings, Debra Haight, Darlene Chesko (Greg), Bill Erwin (Becky), Phillip Erwin and Brad Erwin; and his brother-in-law Eddie Young. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
