He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Sheets and Bessie Sheets (Hays); his wife Marjorie Sheets (Borror); his granddaughter Melanie Kriger; and his siblings, Paul Sheets, Oliver Sheets Jr. and Margaret Cave.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Morrison (Joe), Lyle Sheets (Sandy) and Patty Kriger (Dave); his grandchildren, Laura Mitchell (Michael), Alan Sheets (Rachel), Kyle Sheets (LaCrissa), Ryan Morrison (Megan), Shannon Francis (James), Michelle Townsend (Eli) and Sherry Lewis (Shaun); and his sister Kathleen Hoop. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Family suggest in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.
