He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rembert and Dora Rembert; and his siblings, William Jr., Joseph, Melvin, Albert, Lester, Lonnie and Maggie Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Frances of Washington; and his children, Vivian Diane Diggins (Michael) of Hueytown, Alabama and David Stokes of Columbus. He is also survived by three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
