He was predeceased by: his parents, Flora Carson Smith and Fred Powell Smith Sr.. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Diane Smith; his wife Diane; his daughters, Melissa Cunningham (Michael) of Westerville and Marlena Smith (Mike Schmitz) of Worthington; his grandsons, Aiden, Gavin and Braelen Cunningham of Westerville; and his sisters, Jamesina Smith-Person, Lenora Smith of Columbus and Dr. Mitzi Smith of Decatur, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family members.
