He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert R. Blattner and Marie E. Blattner (Pry); and his brothers, Jared D. Blattner, Larry D. Blattner and Terry R. Blattner.
He is survived by: his son John; his daughter-in-law Kim Blattner of Nacogdoches, Texas; his daughter Jodie; his son-in-law Mike Journeycake of Mendham; his sister Sherry Klapal of Aurora, Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Megan Blattner of Nacogdoches, Alyssa Blattner of Nacogdoches, Jessica Journeycake of Boston, Jasen Journeycake of Laguna Nigel and Jack Journeycake of Mendham. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
