With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayle A. Blackwell (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on September 9, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Donnal Butler Blackwell; his parents, Thomas A. Blackwell and Gladys Huges Blackwell; and his siblings, Doris Murray, Arbadella Moses, Cecil Blackwell and Buford Blackwell.
He is survived by: his children, Sonya Millsap, Antwan and David Blackwell (Nichole Blackwell); his spouse Andrea Millsap; his children, Trayvone, Ayana Millsap, Trayquan, Pasquile Blackwell, Celeste, Christen, Jonathan, Camille, Joselyn, Robyn, Terrance and Joshua; and his siblings, Nadine of Washington, Mary Keels, Franklin Blackwell and Elsworth Blackwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Interment at Evergreen Burial Park. Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave. Masks and Social Distancing are required. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
